Save the Date – Monday, October 2 at 7pm, Horace Greeley Auditorium

New Castle United for Youth is excited to sponsor Ty Sells, a motivational speaker and youth leadership and prevention specialist, for two days of presentations to students and parents in our district. On Monday evening, Mr. Sells will be at the Horace Greeley auditorium to talk to parents about “Creating Connections That Count”. As parents we all know that is important to forge a connection with your children. Ty Sells will share his knowledge on the important role the parent/child connection plays in the development of a confident, happy and healthy child. Learn the importance of building positive connections with your children so that they feel safe, secure, loved and accepted. Hear how these connections can help them to have a sense of purpose and meaning in life and can reduce the likelihood that they will engage in unhealthy, misguided or risky behaviors.

Ty Sells has been impacting the lives of young people for over 20 years. He has learned that having quality, accurate and relevant information isn’t enough to inspire kids to make good choices. He will share his tips for how to build connections that let kids know you care so that they are ready to have discussions with you on topics that count. This interactive and inspiring session is appropriate for all parents and any adults who are involved with youth, such as teachers, coaches, club advisors and youth leaders.
