The NCUFY Youth Coalition spent time this year focusing on mental health. In addition to preparing a mental health resource page for their peers, the group decided to work on a project to share with the community for Mental Health Awareness Month in May. This project is being unveiled at the May 1 Shine a Light on Mental Health community event and will be shared on NCUFY social media throughout the month. May 2022 Mental Health Awareness Calendar

As many of you know, and for those of you who do not, May is Mental Health Awareness month. To celebrate and recognize this special month, we decided to create a calendar focusing on mental health. Each day of the week has its own overarching theme, all within the realm of mental health. These themes include: reflection, inspirational quotes, positivity, relaxation, exploration, and connection. Each day within each week has its own positive message. By creating this calendar, we hope to shine a light on mental health and its importance. Mental health is always something to keep in mind as it affects how we think, feel, and act. Coping with stress and the ability to make smart decisions contributes to maintaining stable mental health. We hope you enjoy and take our mental awareness month calendar into account!
