NCUFY Joins K.N.O.W. 2 Prevent Virtual Speaker Series

We’ve joined forces with other local coalitions to bring resources to parents!

NCUFY is proud to be a supporter of the K.N.O.W. 2 Prevent virtual speaker series. K.N.O.W. 2 Prevent is a collaboration of Westchester County organizations working together to empower parents with the tools to raise resilient and confident children, help strengthen relationships and reduce risky behaviors.

Once a month K.N.O.W. 2 Prevent hosts a speaker on a parenting, risky behavior or mental health topic. These free webinars give parents an opportunity to learn from nationwide experts. February’s speaker is Laura Stack who founded Johnny’s Ambassadors to educate parents about today’s marijuana products and their impact on young people’s mental health after she lost her son to suicide. This presentation is on Wednesday, February 16 at 7 pm; view the event flyer here, you can register using this link:  https://www.know2prevent.org/speaker-series

You can find more information about the K.N.O.W. 2 Prevent virtual speaker series on their website. Past presentations are available to watch and you can access more information on each topic, including a “tip jar” with takeaways, information and prompts.
